Software Engineer:
Responsibilities:
- Optimizing, maintaining, and developing new features for an existing Ruby on Rails web application
- Offering new solutions for code optimization
- Improving scalability of back-end architecture to accommodate millions of users
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Ruby on Rails so the candidate can “hit the ground running”.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience.
- Solid Knowledge of jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
- High attention to detail, and ability to work well independently with guidance.
- Must be able to row the boat a bit faster than usual when needed, we are a startup.
- A smiling can-do spirit with a positive attitude that believes that if it can be thought of, it can be done.
Nice to haves:
- Experience in scaling high-end Ruby on Rails web applications
- Experience in creating and maintaining great user-interfaces
- Linux administration, Capistrano, Apache, Passenger are no secrets to you
Web User Interface Designer:
Responsibilities:
- Design next generation web and mobile user-interfaces that are simple, functional and beautiful.
- Offer ongoing innovative solutions for the enhancements of the entire platform
- Participate in the creative process of taking new ideas to products
Requirements:
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite i.e. Photoshop, In-Design, Illustrator
- Sound knowledge of HTML 4/5, XHTML, CSS 2/3, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL
- Must be able to row the boat a bit faster than usual when needed, we are a startup.

Software Development Intern:
Immersed into a small team of decision-makers, you will be working on features for the Paatle platform. Internship includes intensive learning of the MVC architecture, HTML/CSS/JS and the Ruby on Rails on framework.
Responsibilities:
- Offering new solutions for code optimization
- Contributing to the scalability of back-end architecture to accommodate millions of users
Requirements:
- Basic Software/Web programming knowledge.
- High attention to detail, and ability to work well independently with guidance.
- Must be able to row the boat a bit faster than usual when needed, we are a startup.
- A smiling can-do spirit with a positive attitude that believes that if it can be thought of, it can be done.
Nice to haves:
- You are a digital native, you love to think of your brain as a CPU.
- Experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience in the UNIX world, you are familiar with Linux
- Good knowledge of Graphic Designs
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails
